THE BEAUTY SPOT : That Gal review

So I acquired a small tub of 'That Gal' primer from Benefit. I'm not normally bothered by primers - which isn't great considering it's my job to be excited by them! I acquired this from Glamour who had their Benefit issue this month. I must say, the mini items were a bit......crap. I opened this and it was so small!!!! I was quite shocked as the packaging is quite a bit bigger then it actually is! Anyway, it as enough for me to test it and I love the Benefit / Glamour issue as I can try different products and see if there is anything I want to buy!

I tried a small amount of this over the past two weeks and I actually have noticed a difference. Basically a primer helps to hold a foundation onto the skin, stops it from creasing or going patchy over the day and also improves the quality of the foundation. Some primers, like this one, have small amounts of shimmer or light reflecting particles in them to help the wearer achieve a shiny, dewy finish with their foundation.

I found this lightweight, non greasy, shimmery but didn't make my skin appear sweaty and I was able to wear it on its own without foundation!

*However I feel I must mention that a week later, my skin had a reaction. I really don't think it was this product but there were three new products introduced during this week and this was one of them. As I mentioned, I really don't think it was this one....but you never know!
