Gucci continues its legacy of chunky Rhyton sneakers with the release of a “Worldwide” edition, reworking its “Ivory” leather upper with imaginary flags and bold branding.
The Alessandro Michele-designed sneaker sports a large graphic on its lateral side panel much like other Rhyton sneakers before it, only this time the graphic focuses on a “community that brings together different cultures and personalities,” as said by the house.
These imaginary flags are printed alongside the “Gucci Worldwide” motif, which sits atop a web-style globe graphic in black. Bold colors found on the graphic contrast the supple “Ivory” leather uppers, tonal laces and gum-hued outsole, the latter of which sports small treads detailed with stars.
Rounding out the Gucci Rhyton “Worldwide” sneaker is the house’s moniker debossed at the heel, foil branding on the tongue, debossed leather insoles and tan stitching on the toe.
