Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all my lovely readers who celebrate the holiday! I'm not Irish and have no plans to go out and celebrate, but that doesn't mean I won't use this as an excuse to wear my greens. I was short on time yesterday so I created this simple and fun manicure to wear today. Honestly this is all in an effort to avoid getting pinched! ;)

For my manicure I created a gradient of Pure Ice Lucky Charming and Be My Clover. Both of them are part of the Luck of the Stylish collection available now. I just couldn't resist these gorgeous gold fleck filled greens when I saw them. Although this collection is new, the colors look very familiar and I think they might be available as part of the core collection under different names...

I topped the gradient off with a bit of OPI I Reached My Gold. I think the glitter looks like coins which suited my purposes perfectly. The large hex glitter in this polish does curl. Although I have not compared them (yet), it reminds me a lot of OPI When Monkeys Fly!. I know a lot of people have a problem with the curling glitter, but I think it adds a bit of playfulness to it.

Ooh, so much pretty holo goodness in this glitter mix also!

Lucky Charming
A sheer lime green base with a strong gold glass fleck shimmer. It takes three coats to reach opacity as it starts out very sheer and jelly like. The tips were difficult to wrap with the sheer base, otherwise it applies easily, doesn't drag. The gold shimmer in this is gorgeous! Swatches with no top coat...
