The wannabe-scandal has dried out already. Even Eläkeläiset themselves have commented the matter: "Marco Bjurström's comments had no effect whatsoever in the result. Of course it sucks to lose when you have given your all but we are not bitter. Kuunkuiskaajat deserved to win and they will keep the Finnishness well alive in Oslo 2010, even the accordeon is with them. We wish them all the best!"
