Those of you who have been reading here for a while might remember that I planted a mixed colour selection of mini capsicum seeds several months ago.
Finally, now that it's almost too cold for salads, these tasty little bites are ripening.
Here is the very first one I picked, two days ago.
It's chocolate coloured, but still capsicum flavoured.
Washed and ready to eat. Measured too, so you can see how tiny this little morsel is.
Sliced
Seeds scooped out
Nothing left but the stem!
I'm saving the seeds of each individual colour in separate envelopes for next season.
Here's another "chocolate" capsicum ripening
Look! There's an orange one almost ready.
