On this date in 1978, Suicide re-released their self-titled debut album in the U.K. It had been released in 1977 in a limited edition run but sold out. The band was a New York duo consisting of Alan Vega and Martin Rev. It was a seven track album but, when re-released on CD, it was expanded to 17 tracks including seven live tracks.
They also released their first single, "
Cheree" on this date. The B side was "
I Remember". The A side was a re-mix of the album track. The B side was a non-LP track. Both songs were included as bonuses when the album was re-released on CD.
